A recharge pit is harvested at the campus for the collection of the Rain water and maintenance. Water from the building is drained into the recharge pit through the pipelines. A recharge pit with dimensions of 10x10 feet was constructed where a pipe attached to it drains off the rainwater. Thus harvesting the rainwater.

2.BOREWELL RECHARGE

Bore well facility is available within the campus. The bore wells have the piping facility which has a motor supply. Ground water is piped onto elevated tanks for individual blocks throughout the campus using the bore-well pump.

3.CONSTRUCTION OF TANKS AND BUNDS

Water management system is the need of the hour due to severity of water crisis in our society. To meet the excess demand of water in the college, hostels, canteens the water stored in the ground water tank is used for various purposes as washing, cleaning and gardening by pumping it into storage tanks in the campus with the help of well laid pipe network. The water bodies contain water for most part of the year.

4.MAINTENANCE OF WATER BODIES AND DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM IN THE CAMPUS

Aditya College of Pharmacy maintains water bodies in the campus through which water is pumped and fed into overhead tank of the college through well laid pipe network. The water from the tank then goes to the toilets and laboratories of the college. For drinking purpose, water from the overhead tank is supplied through a separate set of distribution pipes into the RO system of the college for purification and then the drinking water finally goes to the water cooler for consumption. On routine basis maintenance work of RO system and water cooler is done.
